Each of the attorneys at STEPHENS, GOURLEY & BYWATER has over 20 years' experience practicing law in the State of Nevada. Each attorney complements the others in bringing to the law firm broad legal experience and expertise.

Prior to establishing STEPHENS, GOURLEY & BYWATER, David A. Stephens and Gordon E. Bywater had practiced as the law firm of Stephens & Bywater, and R. Vaughn Gourley had practiced as a partner in the law firm of Gourley & Bodily. Mr. Gourley is also admitted to practice law in the State of Utah.

David A. Stephens

Born in Montpelier, Idaho; admitted to State Bar of Nevada 1983; U.S. District Court, District of Nevada, 1984.

R. Vaughn Gourley

Born in Spanish Fork, Utah; admitted to Utah State Bar 1982; admitted to State Bar of Nevada 1984; U.S. District Court, District of Utah, 1982; U.S. District Court, District of Nevada, 1984; U.S. 9th and 10th Circuit Courts of Appeal, 1984; U.S. Supreme Court, 1985; U.S. Court of Federal Claims and U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, 2003.
